This configuration is a toggle version.
When trigger input is applied the relay will change state, if it was off it will turn on and if it was on it will turn off. Every trigger input pulse will change the state of the relay. Ideal for interfacing a press switch to provide ON/OFF switching. The potentiometer provides and adjustable delay of 0-1s. This sets how long the input must be on before the trigger is activated and the relay changes state. Ideal for noisy environments.

Our mini delay timer boards are ideal for use in security and low voltage control circuits. They have high quality rising clamp terminals capable of holding up to 2.5mm2 cable. They are multi voltage and will run on anything between 8 and 30VDC. The time is adjusted by a quality thumb screw type potentiometer, no mini screw driver required. The trigger input is jumper selectable between a positive or negative going trigger signal. There are two LEDs to indicate power and relay active.

The relay output is rate at 1 amp. The relay common contact can be connected to either GND or V+ via solder pads on the rear of the PCB for mass production jobs.

As this timer is programmable, we are able to customise it for your requirements. Some of the things we can do are:

Change the time range
Include set delays for pre-trigger de-bounce etc
Make it delay on, delay off, activate on power up, activate on trigger applied or release, pulse the relay at a given rate or set rate via the pot. It’s up to you imagination really.
