PWDIS4WDR - Power Distribution Module - Din Rail Mount Code: 70160
The PWDIS4W is a power distribution module for voltages up to 30VDC. Designed for use with distributed I/O bus systems, the module allows connection of a main bus power supply to 4 output lines.
The main bus power supply (backbone) connection has both IN and OUT terminals that can take up to 6mm2 cable. It also allows for 3 core standard type TPS cable with three connections for each backbone cable. The IN to OUT connection is via a blade type fuse so all down line cables are protected. This fuse value can be altered to allow circuit segregation during a fault on long cable runs. This allows the installer to ensure voltage drop does not affect the safety of the circuits downstream.
The 4 outputs are rated at 1 amp each and have self resetting POLYFUSE fuses. This is a solid state fuse that resets once a fault is removed. Each output has an ON/OFF jumper for easy circuit isolation as well as a green LED to indicate power is available at the output and a red LED that indicates if the circuit fuse is tripped. This assists greatly when fault finding on large systems.
The module is available in both din rail and surface mount options.
