The Wireless Pendant Interface unit is designed to be connected to an existing emergency call system in aged and medical care facilities. The kit consists of a waterproof necklace pendant, wireless base unit and a 230VAC plug pack power supply.

This kit is used where a waterproof type pendant is required for the patient, to enable them to call for help while in the shower or bath within 30m of the base unit.

The base unit has a 3 metre lead with a 6.35mm plug that fits most common nurse and emergency call systems. The existing patient bedside pendant can be plugged into the front of the base unit so it may still be utilised at the bed.
When the pendant is pressed by the patient, an output is given to the existing call system. A RESET button on the front of the base unit cancels the alarm. The call system the base unit is connected to will need to be cancelled in its normal manor. The base unit will also provide an alarm output if it is unplugged from the 230VAC mains supply.

The necklace transmitter is battery powered and uses a standard 23A 12V battery. The battery can be easily replaced by removing four small screws on the back of the transmitter. Typical battery life is approximately 2 years.

Other Items required.
An existing nurse call or emergency call system with 6.35mm plugs and sockets. Adaptor leads and new pendants are available to suit other systems. Please contact us to discuss your requirements.
